Triton Stables Summer Camp was implemented to provide campers with a safe, fun and educational riding experience, for those new to horses as well as for the accomplished rider. For campers to receive the best experience out of their week at summer camp, campers must have English paddock boots. Campers may purchase boots at Dover tack shop at Brier Creek in Raleigh, or online at Statelinetack.com. Boots do not have to be expensive. The Saxon or Tuffrider brand is perfect for campers and only cost 30-40 dollars a pair. -Camp check in is at 9:00 AM. Upon arrival, campers are divided into small groups based on riding ability and knowledge of the horse. Each group will dedicate time in the morning to learning varied aspects of horse care and horsemanship. Including but not limited to: Grooming, tacking and basic safety around horses.
